Chapter1 ~Two Kind of Swing Mechanics~
While many instructors and researchers say "great hitters have the same mechanics", there actually are two completely different swing mechanics, and of course, this can also be said on pitching mechanics. In this series of posts, I'm going to write on the most basic of basics on the difference of those two kind of hitting mechanics. (As for pitching mechanics I want to write in another opportunity.)

First of all, see figure1: Miguel Cabrera and Hank Aaron, two of the greatest right-handed hitters as you all know. Despite both hitters are swinging at belt-high pitches, their swings are completely different each other.
As I mentioned above, there are two different swing mechanics: puncher type and swinger type. In figure1, Cabrera is a puncher and Aaron is a swinger.
